Biography
Konata has always been drawn to the world of art, and her artistic talent stood out from a very young age. She studied a vocational degree in Graphic Design and became a finalist in several competitions, but design didn’t fully satisfy her. Since childhood, her true passion had been the world of comics —and more specifically, manga— so she began studying Manga at Escola Joso on weekends. She soon realized that this was the path she wanted to follow and enrolled in the Graphic Art program. During her time at Escola Joso, she won first prize in the international Comic and Manga Contest organized by Clip Studio Paint with her work Cheer Up, Dad! (¡Ánimo papá!).
She currently works for the publishing house Planeta, contributing to the bimonthly magazine Planeta Manga and the European magazine Manga Issho. She is the author of Kohva and illustrator of Nebesta.
