Biography
In 2014 he was a finalist in the first Ki-Oon publisher’s springboard competition with his short story ‘No Spite’, then in 2015 he became the assistant to mangaka Dara, who was working on Angélique at the time. Following the Silent Manga Audition competition organised by Japanese publisher Coamix, he was selected for a programme aimed at developing authors around the world. He was invited to Japan, where he received advice from jury members Tsukasa Hojo, Tetsuo Hara, Ryujii Tsugihara and Nobohiko Horie, president of coamix and former editor-in-chief of Shonen Jump. At the same time, he signed his first publishing contract with Olydri for the manga Meckaz. In 2018, Meckaz was awarded the prize for best international manga by the specialist magazine Animeland, as well as a nomination in the same category at the Japan Expo Awards. In 2021, he drew a short 3-volume series entitled ‘Droners: Tales of Nuï’ in collaboration with Sylvain Dos Santos on the script. This is a manga prequel to the animated series ‘Droners’. In 2025, he wrote & draw a one-shot entitled ‘Good Boy’ for the magazine Manga Issho.
